Program Overview
The Pathways to Excellence: Business Sustainability module focuses on business sustainability practices. The course delves into the evolving corporate ESG landscape, emphasizing net neutrality and carbon/hydrogen recapture goals. Participants will gain the tools to develop their own Corporate Sustainability Reports and have the opportunity to secure an EcoVadis assessment and rating. Designed to empower Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs), this program enhances their ability to engage with Supplier Diversity and Sustainability Officers and positions them to compete for higher-value contracts. Our goal is to help diverse businesses thrive in a sustainability-driven marketplace.

HMSDC understands it can take many years to build a successful business, which is why a constant pipeline of developing MBEs is needed as others retire or sell their companies. For these reasons, HMSDC has established the Pathways to Excellence Program to ensure a steady stream of developing MBEs are being prepared to meet corporate demands.
These MBEs will receive a designation that they meet corporate standards and business requirements that will earn them opportunities to show case their “readiness” to key business decision makers. The HMSDC enthusiastically offers the HMSDC’s Pathways to Excellence Program to MBEs to grow and develop their companies.
